Belle Isle – Detroit Adventures

On my way to work from an offsite meeting, I decided to find a place to stop and take some photos. The Fountain was not operating on this day, but found some great photos to refine and add to my collection. As seen above the aquarium is still around, even though damage was left by the previous Mayor and Administration. A collective & support groups has taken claim to the Detroit Aquarium to rebuild and restore it to its original luster. Its open select days of the week and asking for only donations to bring the facility back to its full potential. Sitting next to the Belle Isle Conservatory another hidden Jem of Detroit.
